Epic 2015

The video Epic 2015 describes this year as the best of times and as the worst of times predicting some of that technological advantages and biggest issues humanity is facing today. Information is everywhere and accessible by anyone from anywhere.

However, as access increase our right to be forgotten decrease, once our data has been added to the cyber space we become immortalize. The cyber world has expanded to such a extend that we not longer have control over basics.

 What is real and what is fictitious? Is another of the biggest issues we face with continues expansion of the virtual world. Everybody participates and everybody contributes to this net of information and we can not discern from what is actual facts and what is not. Individuals and entities share information and use information based on their own agenda and we are left behind with the responsibility of figure out what is real and what is not.

Guest Speaker Bryan Forth

The visit from Bryan Forth was a nice way to see how much and how fast technology advance. It is pretty extraordinary to see that companies like the one of Mr. Forth has been visionary companies that were and are able to see how to adapt, change and predict of what is to come in terms of business and technology.

I believe that we can use Darwin theory of evolution when we speak on terms of business and technology. only the most adaptable will survive. this is kinda scary and discouraging for an entrepreneur, but  it is proved history that if we don't adapt to the changes of the world the world just will keep it course leaving us behind.

Scavenger Hunt

The assignment scavenger hunt allowed us to acknowledge how much of our personal information is out there. Without even realizing we our disclosing most of our most personal information. It is pretty easy to access to someones entire life, likes, and even daily schedule just by getting online for a couple minutes. It doesn't even require of sophisticated software, because most of us unconscious of how our data can be use has put our life in the net.

It is essential that from this first hand experience we learn to become more conscious of who we allow access to our information. That we as users become more engage on how our information is use and distributed and how much of our personal life we want out there in the internet.
